The Musky 5k Run/Walk is a fun and non-competitive event with a portion of the proceeds going to a different local charity each year. The course follows a route through the downtown and the City of Hayward starting and finishing on Main Street in front of People's Bank. This year's recipient of a portion of the the proceeds will be Hayward Food Shelf.
There is also a free Minnow Run for the youngest members of the family which loops a downtown area block. All participants receive a medal.
Notice: for the runners who ran the race but did not receive a T-shirt, please contact the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce 715-634-8662 with your names and sizes by July 5th, 2010.
